S4’s Greg Harris Named 2010 AFCEAN of the Year

June 16, 2011 - PRLog -- Mr. Greg Harris, S4 Inc.’s Director of IT Programs, was recently honored as 2010 AFCEAN of the Year by the Scott–St. Louis Chapter.

The Armed Forces Communication Engineering Association (AFCEA) serves the military, government, industry, and academia as an ethical forum for advancing professional knowledge and relationships in the fields of communications, IT, intelligence, and global security. AFCEA’s Scott-St. Louis Chapter has over 500 members. Mr. Harris served as their Chapter Treasurer for 2010-2011 and was a key leader of the annual golf tournament which raised over $12,000 for the education fund.  While serving as Treasurer, he worked with the State of Illinois to secure a sales tax exemption on all future purchases which will benefit the chapter in the years to come. The Scott-St. Louis Chapter awarded over $46,000 in scholarships during his tenure.
