Naturipe Farms Joins The Balancing Act’s Popular ‘myCuisine’ Series this Month on Lifetime

Fresh berry grower Naturipe Farms recently completed their shoot for O2 Media’s hit morning TV show “The Balancing Act.”  The segment, which features company partner and blueberry farmer Kable Munger, will air as part of the show’s “myCuisine” series in June on Lifetime Television.  Munger discusses the health benefits of blueberries and gives viewers a few easy ideas to help them get more berries in their daily diet.

Even though most people are fond of blueberries, few consume any considerable quantity each year, partly due to the fruit’s limited availability.  According to Munger, this is because blueberries have traditionally been grown only in certain regions of the world, so they usually were not available on a year-round basis.  Thankfully, today Naturipe Farms has growers all over North and South America, making it possible to ship a fresh supply of blueberries all year long, as well as strawberries, raspberries, and blackberries.  They have also developed proprietary techniques that allow their blueberries to remain fresh for a longer period of time.
