The webinars are being organized and coordinated by Christine Demas, Director of the Fort Detrick Business Development Office (FDBDO) which was established in 2005 through a government contract awarded by the U.S. Army Medical Research and Materiel Command’s U.S. Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity to support Fort Detrick. Since its inception the FDBDO has assisted over 2500 companies better understand and participate in the business opportunities at Fort Detrick and navigate through the complex government procurement process. The FDBDO has formed close working relationships organizations such as the statewide Economic Development Offices, colleges and universities, Chambers of Commerce and other business associations, and the Fort Detrick Contracting Community (FDCC) to help create a stronger business community and a stronger Fort Detrick.
