June 14, 2011 - PRLog -- Urogynecologist Lauri J. Romanzi, MD will join co-chairs Edward J. Stanton, MD and Tracy Capes, MD to present a workshop on fistula, pelvic organ prolapse and incontinence in developing nations on June 29th at the 36th Annual Meeting of the International Urogynecological Association (IUGA). Dr. Romanzi travels annually to DR Congo and elsewhere in sub-Saharan Africa and Asia to perform surgical repairs for women suffering pelvic organ prolapse, urinary or fecal incontinence, and childbirth-related vaginal fistula.
