DH Studios Inc Introduces Ortega jewelry Designs for Boston Fashion Week show 2011-12

June 14, 2011 - PRLog -- Ortega, who specializes in one-of-a-kind pieces and custom designs, has been selected by Daniel Hernández, Boston fashion designer, to provide the jewelry for “Anomaly,” the DH Collection for 2011-2012. The fashion show will take place on September 27, 2011, at VENU Boston, 100 Warrenton St., Boston, MA. part of Boston Fashion Week 2011

Where does Ortega find inspiration? “…I am inspired by everything,” she answers. “I can see beyond what’s in front of me…I can look at the fine veins of a leaf and base my design off that, or be inspired by the geometric shapes of an interesting building or a piece of fabric.” For whom does Ortega design? The designer responds, “The fashion-forward women who are not afraid to take fashion risks and be different…For custom designs, I try to capture the person’s personality in the piece itself.”

Why does Ortega support women’s issues? “Like many women of the world, I have overcome many hardships and exceeded the odds that were against me,” Ortega explains. “Not only do I want to have my own company, but I would like to give back. I will never forget where I came from. I want to help organizations that help women who have been victims of abuse and violence. I have begun a new relationship with the Elizabeth Stone House and I am currently participating in the Wilderness Heals pledge hike.”

In the short time that I have known Ortega, she has shown persistence and commitment,  Said Hernández. Both individuals got to know each other during the taping of a  segment for the show Style it up.
