June 14, 2011 - PRLog -- On Saturday 4th June the 9-hole Lost World Adventure Golf Course in Hemsby, Norfolk, hosted a pre-BMGA English Open warm-up Charity Pro-Am doubles event in conjunction with the British Minigolf Association.

The team of Nick Chitty and Richard Hathaway won the event following a sudden-death play-off victory against the team of Richard Gottfried & William Collins, after both teams had tied on scores of 88.

The second annual Lost World Adventure Golf Pro-Am Classic competition saw twelve teams take to the 9-hole Beach Road course for a two-round tournament, with £312 raised for the Ben and Lucy Brown charity appeal.

Results:
1st Nick Chitty & Richard Hathaway
2nd Richard Gottfried & William Collins
3rd Nick Sandqvist & Tom Moore
4th Kevin Moseley & Andy Green

James Gray of the Lost World Adventure Golf Course said “Once again I would like to thank all of the BMGA minigolfers for making the trip to Hemsby. Me and the local players thoroughly enjoyed the evening. We were so pleased to hold this pro-am competition, and here’s to next year.”

The format of the event saw players split into two pools by ‘Pro’ and ‘Am’ status, alongside current BMGA rankings. A draw was then made to decide the pairings, before playing in a two-round 18-hole competition, with both players scores combined to make up the team score.
