Tampa, FL - United For a Sustainable America (UFASA), is excited to announce our Fall Tour for the remainder of 2011.  UFASA is planning three events for the East Coast, starting in New Brunswick, NJ on September 22, 2011.  The second event after NJ, will be in Raleigh, NC on October 20, with the final event for 2011 culminating in Athens, GA on November 17.

UFASA’s Green Business Summit events are free and open to the public, and focus on the opportunities to bring together Public Sector leaders, Corporate Executives and the general public to create and stimulate a dialogue around sustainability.  In addition to the educational tracks provided by our Summits, UFASA will also be working with companies to help increase exposure to potential “Green Jobs” which have been identified as a means for the country to recover economically.

“It is imperative that our communities begin to better understand and embrace green business practices,” says Anthony Cannon, UFASA President and managing director of Sustainable Strategies Worldwide.  “Ultimately, these strategies and tactics will yield more successful, sustaining organizations and economies.”

UFASA’s Green Business Summits will provide a focus in the following areas:

•   Rare Earth Metals and their role in national security and energy efficiency
•   Net Zero Building and current initiatives to help reduce building resource needs
•   A Green Authors Panel
•   Green Financing

In addition to the education sessions, each Green Business Summit will also have a tradeshow component featuring state of the art green technology and products designed to help increase sustainable practices and reduce our impact on the Earth.
