DSS 2011 to stage 'Disney's Camp Rock: The Musical'” - Presented by Popular Productions

June 13, 2011 - PRLog -- The Middle East premiere of the fantastic ‘Disney Camp Rock the Musical’ will be an OFFICAL EVENT OF DUBAI SUMMER SURPRISES 2011.

‘Disney’s Camp Rock’ brought us the worldwide sensations 'The Jonas Brothers' and introduced us to a brand new set of loveable characters. This summer at camp was supposed to be all about the music and having the time of their lives. But the new, flashy Camp Star across the lake now threatens Camp Rock’s very existence. To keep the doors open, Mitchie steps up, rallies her fellow Camp Rockers, and gets them into top shape for the ultimate showdown!  This fantastic stage version of the hit Disney Channel Original Movie Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam is set to take Dubai by storm this summer.

Including all the hit songs from the original movie and sequel including “This Is Me”, “Can’t Back Down”, “It’s On” and “We Rock”, this high energy, fun-filled spectacular is live on stage for ten performances. It's the perfect show for all the family this summer.

The show features a cast of some of the West End’s best performers who have performed in such international hit west end shows as Fame, Blood Brothers, Sweet Charity, High School Musical and Hairspray alongside Dubai’s hottest upcoming talent. This includes heartthrob Liam Doyle who will play the lead role of Shane Gray who recently starred as 'Link Larkin' in the smash hit UK National Tour of 'Hairspray'. He won the UK National Television 'search for Disney’s Troy Bolton' and subsequently toured the country in Disney's High School Musical 2 On Stage.
