Urban Couture Remix Part II : Music & Fashion on ONE Stage

June 12, 2011 - PRLog -- 2010 marked the First Annual Urban Couture Remix Event bringing together two major entities in the Entertainment Industry: Music & Fashion. We are providing a much needed platform for Artists and Designers alike to receive recognition in their areas of specialty.

With much anticipation, the First Annual was a major success, pulling in performances by great caliber of artists as Pro City, Tara King, Walter Devon, Casanova Brown and Fratthouse: some of which are local Long Beach artists. Designs were provided by Red Haute Box, Pheli Inc, Pro City Wear, and Saucie Garments. The coming together of these two entities proved to be a match made in heaven. The music was the cake while the designs was the icing for the event.

This years line-up of Musical Performances has raised the bar from the prior year.  With the theme being Summertime in the L.B.C., we are sure that you will hear music and see fashion that elevates the craftsmanship of being an artist. Opening up the night will be Cloud 9 Empire: a band out of Los Angeles. Then we'll have Pr1me, a Long Beach native perform with the models of Love-Clothing. Dynamic Certified will then take the stage along with some accompaniment of other great artists. This group has created a movement for a new outlook on music.  Headlining the event is Ms. Triniti, known for creating her own sound called “ragga hop” she already has under her belt three Top 5 singles in Jamaica including the #1 hit, ‘Burnin”, feat. Beenie Man and Two Top 20 singles on the US Billboard Hip Hop/RnB Singles sales chart. In collaboration with designer Genesis Parker-Davis, Triniti will be showcasing for the first time her clothing line, Triniti Clothing, which I am sure will be a Top-Hit for the Summertime.

Hosting live is Comedian London Brown who has been know for his witty imitations of such actors as Denzel Washington, Chris Tucker, and many more. He is definitely on the rise to being a house-hold name.

Hosting the Red Carpet for us this year is Reiley Renee with INFECTIOUS PRODUCTIONS/INFECTIOUS TV. She has covered Red Carpets for various Fashion Shows such as Soul Confection this past Feb and many more, a Grammy Party, and CD Release Parties. Not shy in front of the camera, Reiley Renee is a talent to watch for as she rises to the top.

Standing side by Side, we have two Red Carpet hosts this year. Introducing this new face to the Urban Couture Remix is J. Marie. She's an Actress / Host / Model from Kansas City, MO that now resides in Los Angeles.  Not shy in front of the camera, J Marie is very active in the Entertainment Industry. She has been featured on web series, red carpets, and runways.

Order of the Event:
Red Carpet: 9-10pm
Performances Part I: 1030-1115pm
Intermission & Comedy Act: 1115-1130pm
Performances Part II: 1130pm-12am


We will have vendors from jewelry by Darrell Roach Designs, and Lock'd Jewelry by Gadgiz Galore to cupcakes from Pamper Me Sweets “The Dessert Spa” to nail art from Kleur on hand, perfect for a summertime event.

Urban Couture Remix: Where Music & Fashion Meet on one Stage will be taking place June 16th at the Newly Re-Modeled Shore Ultra Lounge located at 6200 East 2nd Street (cross street is PCH) behind the Sea Port Hotel.
