Pilot hiring in India continues to show signs of recovery after the slowdown over the past few years. Recently, two graduates from Sunrise Aviation were hired by SpiceJet Airlines in India, one flying the B737 and the other the ATR. Sunrise Aviation has trained more than 150 commercial pilots from India over the past 6 years.
Sunrise Aviation has been in business continuously since 1983 at the Ormond Beach Municipal Airport in Florida. Located just 8 miles north of Daytona Beach International Airport and only an hour away from Orlando International Airport, Sunrise Aviation is located in the best place in the world for pilot training. Central Florida not only offers excellent year-round flying weather, but also some of the best airports, airspace, and easy access to flight training areas. Sunrise Aviation has 40 aircraft including Cessna C152s and C172s, and Piper Seminoles, Seneca, Arrow, and Tomahawk. Students from over 50 countries have received pilot training at Sunrise Aviation over the past decade.
