LAC Group Introduces Recruiter Garland Fuller

June 9, 2011 - PRLog -- LAC Group is pleased to announce the addition of Ms. Garland Fuller as a Recruiter who will be based in our Los Angeles office. Ms. Fuller brings more than ten years of professional recruiting experience to LAC Group.  She served as Staff Recruiter for five years in a large law firm in San Francisco, and as the Regional Staffing Manager in a publicly-traded real estate brokerage.  She has her master’s in Human Resources Development and bachelor’s in American Studies.  She looks forward to learning the nuances of the information industry and working with many of the professionals leading the innovations in our field.

The recruiting department at LAC Group sees the growing need for recruiters in the information industry as evidence of the growing demand across many vertical industries for highly-specialized and technical information workers.  As the jobs of information professionals continue to demand a complex and often difficult-to-find blend of technical knowledge and subject matter expertise, so the sourcing and recruiting of these professionals becomes more problematic for the organization in need of them.  That’s where library and information recruiters come in.  Our specialist recruiters maintain an awareness of where such specialists work and gather for professional development — and they present them to the organization in search of those skills.
