IEEE and Curran Associates Sign New Agreement

Extending Their Existing Agreement to Compose, Print and Fulfill Orders for IEEE Conference Proceedings
 
June 15, 2011 - PRLog -- Recently Curran Associates, Inc. and IEEE extended their existing agreement for printing, distributing, and fulfilling IEEE conference proceedings worldwide. When this full service partnership began in 2008, there were approximately 700 unique IEEE conference publications per year. In 2011, they are expected to publish in excess of 1,200.

Curran will continue to compose electronic files into “on-demand” print editions, for those customers who still prefer print.  In addition, Curran handles all orders, inquiries, and fulfillment services for IEEE conference proceedings publications, by phone and via their website -- www.proceedings.com.   According to Kevin Dresely, IEEE Senior Manager, Conference Content Management, “Curran has played a key part in improving our print and online fulfillment services and overall customer service. As our business grows, we will continue to rely on Curran to help achieve our goal of providing high quality conference content to our customers around the world.”

Curran Associates also prints and distributes IEEE standards to customers around the world who request printed editions. In addition, the company manages standing order plans for over 1,200 unique conference titles, and is a valuable resource to librarians and booksellers around the world.
