Everyday People Get In The Ring To Fight For A Cause
Sunday, June 12 at the Delta Hotel in downtown Kitchener will be a familiar sight with some unfamiliar participants. This unique event will allow everyday people who have been training for a minimum of 8 weeks to raise money for charities.
Jen Kadlec 32 year old registered massage therapist has embarked on this journey of training and conditioning to support George Chuvalo’s Fight Against Drugs. Mandy McDonald a 37 year old school teacher will also be lacing them up for the first time on Sunday June 12 in support of Ray of Hope in downtown Kitchener. These are just a couple of the everyday people who will be fighting in support of a local charity.
The evening will also feature Kitchener talent and Light Heavyweight Golden Glove Champion Shawn “The Flurry” Murray in action. Recording artist Dana Marie will kick off the evening with a musical performance.
Ring card models outfitted by Caeasars Closet Waterloo will keep you entertained between rounds, and there will be a silent auction with proceeds going to the charities.
