Scribes STAT, Inc. announced today that Kathleen Myers, MD has been appointed the Chairperson of the Scribes STAT Board of Directors. Dr. Myers is also the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of the medical scribe systems provider.

Since June 2005, Dr. Myers has served as Assistant Director, Department of Emergency Medicine at Legacy Salmon Creek Hospital in Vancouver, Washington and is the co-founder and director of the scribe program for Northwest Acute Care Specialists. Dr. Myers is currently an examiner for the American Board of Emergency Medicine. She has held this position since her nomination in 2005. She is also co-owner of Soleil Medical Spa, Portland, Oregon. From June 1994- June 2005, Dr. Myers practiced Emergency Medicine at St. John Hospital in Longview, Washington and served for 6 years as the trauma program director and 2 years as the Department Chair. Dr. Myers received an MD degree in 1990 from Oregon Health & Science University in Portland, Oregon and completed a residency in Emergency Medicine at UCLA in 1994.
