Boy Scout Troop 333 - Huntersville, NC - Gains First Corporate Sponsorship - Other Inquiries Welcome

June 7, 2011 - PRLog -- Boy Scout Troop 333 (online at http://www.thefamilytroop.org) is a mix of homeschool, private and public school children. The scouts, who reside in the Charlotte, NC metro region come from diverse cities and backgrounds.

Our nickname is “the Family Troop” for our ability to involve the whole family in scouting, not just isolate the boy scouts.

First Corporate Sponsorship Helps Defray Most Troop Expenses

Troop 333 of Huntersville, NC is proud to announce that we have signed our first corporate sponsor. As part of the troop’s commitment to help perform service projects in their region, we sought a corporate sponsor to help cover other incidental costs - such as the boy scout troop flag, patrol patches, tote gear, hats, neckerchiefs, and other items, so the troop patrols can all wear matching uniforms they helped design themselves.

The name of the sponsor will be posted shortly on our website along with an advertising banner and click through link for those wishing to patronize the company. As part of our dynamic fundraising program, the scouts of Troop 333 are pursuing both traditional and unconventional methods to fund their scouting goals.

Another corporate sponsor is scheduled for presentation to help support the purchase of all materials needed for a large year-long planned revitalization project in the community. Details of the project and the sponsorship will be announced shortly.

Why Corporate Sponsors are Sought
The Boy Scouts of America® saw a decrease in United Way funding this past two years, to the point where most troops receive no dollars at all, unless the local council is specifically indicated by the employee when they designate charitable funds.

If you own a company that would like to support a worthwhile venture and have only a small amount to contribute, our troop may be perfect for you. We will have advertising opportunities available in public venues, yet because we are a small troop, our needs are fewer. We welcome all inquiries.
