June 6, 2011 - PRLog -- Almost everyone is burdened with the challenge of doing more work in less time.  It is the new reality of the technology revolution.  Rather than give up, we must find a way to cope.

This week I had the pleasure of attending a Time Management Workshop with Campeau Learning.  By day’s end I was amazed at how much this course could do for me.  As a self-described ‘organized’ business owner, this experience helped me find productive ways to deal with the onslaught of demands on my time.

The key is to analyze your diverse workloads, and your ability to complete those tasks.  Against this, factor in responsibilities and results.  A guided Time Management assessment will lead to clarity about where you struggle and why. I learned that finding systematic ways to deal with work, and interruptions in their proper proportions would alleviate my stress.

You need an action plan, because obviously what had worked before changed as your responsibilities increased.  Wouldn’t you like the opportunity to constructively review and refocus on how you manage your workweek?

Career and family obligations need their due attention.  I firmly believe that Time Management is the only way to find balance and relief from the stress we experience.  With these new tools, I feel positive and have a real chance to improve things.

It will take time to re-organize, systematize and prioritize my work and it’s worth it.  I cannot afford to waste the one resource we will never get more of:  life.
