By: IMC Club International, Inc. Each month, top IFR instructors analyze a common situation that challenges IFR pilots and often leads to trouble. They analyze these situations from every angle and give you a turn in the left seat. Mark will discuss the challenges and the risks of flying in instrument conditions. He will review his approach to instrument training, present one of his workshops and answer any questions regarding his online program. Mark Robidoux is an instrument-rated pilot and has been flying since 1996. Before starting PilotWorkshops.com, Mark spent 18 years in high-tech, working for two of the world's leading software companies. He held a variety of sales, marketing and executive management positions during his career. While studying for his instrument rating, Mark noticed there was little training available for pilots on the internet. Much of his career was spent building, selling and implementing web based programs. He was convinced there was an opportunity to combine his passion for aviation with his knowledge and experience in web technologies. In the fall of 2005, Mark left his high-tech career to create a world class pilot training website. His idea grew into the PilotWorkshops.com web site we have today. More information can be found at www.imcclubs.org or www.pilotworkshops.com # # # The IMC Club is a membership based Non-Profit 501(c)(3) organization focused on instrument rated pilots and flight instructors, with a network of chapters throughout the nation. Their intent is to create a community of pilots in order to share information, provide recognition, foster communications, promote safety and build proficiency in instrument flying. End
