About the Author: Melanie Lane Wells began writing poetry when she was 12 years old. The idea of the main characters Jessica and Nathan from Secrets of Sandy Cove came to her when she was about 14, but the motivation to write their story did not flow until she was a married woman with three children. She has completed her second book, Sacrifice, a modern-day Romeo and Juliet mob story. She lives in Ludowici, Georgia.
