Headline: United Way of St. Joseph County Appoints New Board Members

June 6, 2011 - PRLog -- (South Bend) The United Way of St. Joseph County is proud to announce its new board members for the 2011-2012 year. Board members are an integral part of United Way’s infrastructure, in that they help the organization to make decisions, overcome challenges, and most importantly, achieve goals. Without their efforts, United Way of St. Joseph County would not be able to make such a significant impact within the community.

New members include: Cristal Clark Brisco, Associate at Barnes & Thornburg, LLP; Greg Danner, Senior Vice President of Affiliated Businesses with Teachers Credit Union; Ryan Fenstermaker, Assistant Vice President of 1st Source Bank; Gary Hoipkemier, Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, Secretary, and Treasurer of Schurz Communications, Inc.; Dave Switzer, Community Volunteer; Kate Voelker, Executive Director with RiverBend Cancer Services; and Linda Wolfson, President of the Community Forum for Economic Development. United Way of St. Joseph County welcomes these new board members to their new positions and looks forward to the exciting and prosperous year ahead.

The 2011 Board of Directors Executive Committee is as follows: Chair of the Board, Frank Criniti, partner at Crowe Horwath, LLP; Vice Chair of the Board, Greg Downes, Chairman and CEO of Gibson Insurance Group; Treasurer, Curt Holaway, Chief Financial Officer of South Bend Clinic; and Secretary, Kay Ball, President and CEO of United Way of St. Joseph County.

The 2011 United Way of St. Joseph County Campaign Chairs are as follows: Chair, Greg Downes, Chairman and CEO of Gibson Insurance Group; and Vice Chair, Dave Switzer, Community Volunteer and newly appointed board member for United Way of St. Joseph County.
