Marco visits Cadbury House to launch new menu

June 6, 2011 - PRLog -- Taking place at the Marco Pierre White Steakhouse Bar & Grill on 15 June at DoubleTree by Hilton, Cadbury House, members of the public will not only be one of the first to sample a brand new menu but also try Marco’s new beer called The Governor.

They will also be able to meet the great man himself who will be present during the day.

Opened in September 2010, the restaurant has already established itself as one of the region’s premier eateries.

The restaurant has Marco’s personality stamped all over it. Like the great man himself the decor is dark and sultry, alive with his unique brand of charisma and tinged with a hint of his devilish sense of humour.

There’s sophistication aplenty – discreet lighting, leather table cloths, art deco candle lamps and a simple bright red gerbera centrepiece that adds a much needed splash of colour to every table. Marco calls it “affordable glamour” and if there’s one thing this venue boasts it’s ambiance, in abundance.

A great advocate of locally produced, ethically reared and grown ingredients, Marco sources his meat from Somerset farms and his fish from nearby Devon and Cornwall.
Even West Country cheeses and home county beers (Butcombe Blond) and ciders (Gaymers and Thatchers Gold) make an appearance.

Paul Evans, hotel manager said: “Marco takes a lot of interest in his restaurants and makes regular visits to make sure the quality of food and the level of service meet his exacting standards.

“To have him for the launch of the new menu clearly demonstrates his interest in making sure everything is right for the customers.

“It is also great for the restaurant staff and for them to see Marco and ask him questions. It acts as a great boost to their confidence.”

Lunch is from 12 noon to 3pm with dinner from 6.30 to 10pm.
