World Famous Beatles Artist Offers Paintings for $500 each to 10 Lucky Fans

June 2, 2011 - PRLog -- On Saturday, June 18th, THE SHANNON GALLERY will open their phone lines for one hour at 7 pm EST to the public. The first 10 lucky callers to order an original black & white 24”x26” Beatles headshot painting will receive their painting for the price of $500.  These paintings would have retailed for $500 in 1998 but in today’s market usually start at $5,000. Shannon has fetched up to $35,000 for a single piece of her original artwork.

When asked why, Shannon replied, “I hear the same story over and over...people tell me they wish they could become the proud owner of a SHANNON original but they can’t afford my paintings anymore. So, in respect and loyalty to those fans - I have brought my prices down for one day for a few minutes for those that truly wish to acquire a painting created by me.”

In 1998, the title of 'The World’s Greatest Beatles Artist' was bestowed upon Shannon by the Lord Mayor of Liverpool.  Shannon spent two years creating 110 paintings for the Hard Days Night Hotel in Liverpool.  In August 2009, she became the first non-musician to be inducted into the Cavern Hall of Fame (Cavern Club) in Liverpool.
