A light engineered oak floor can make your home seem brighter

Cooler tones, such as blue-greys, taupes and off shade whites with a hint of blue really help to create a cool, relaxed feel.  Another trick is to paint the ceiling with metallic paint, which is what many hotels use in their lobbies to open up the space, as this type of paint reflects more light.
