Artist Brings Fairy Tales to the Circus

June 2, 2011 - PRLog -- On Saturday, June 4, 2011, Santa Clarita artist Deanna Rene Adona makes Fairy Tale fantasy a reality in her first feature show at The Hive Gallery in Los Angeles, CA.

Adona's series entitled, "Fairy Tale Circus' , depicts favorite storybook characters in a darker light by exploring the troupe life of such characters as Rapunzel, Hansel and Gretel, Alice in Wonderland and Snow White.

With each painting Adona tells a story of redemption and perseverance by these beloved characters. "Each character has a story, one that lives within my imagination." Adona explains, "I hope when people view each piece they get a sense of each characters new tale and maybe even find they're falling deeper into the Fairy Tale Circus journey."

You can experience Adona's work along with 5 other featured artists opening night at The Hive Gallery, Saturday June 4, 2011 and throughout the month of June.
