Hemsby’s Lost World Adventure Golf to host ‘Pro-Am’ Charity Doubles Minigolf Competition

June 1, 2011 - PRLog -- On Saturday 4th June the 9-hole Lost World Adventure Golf Course in Hemsby, Norfolk, will be playing host to the British Minigolf Association and a pre-BMGA English Open warm-up Charity Pro-Am doubles event.

The second annual Lost World Pro-Am Classic competition will tee-off at the Beach Road, Hemsby course at 6.30pm with entry to the event £5.00 per player, with money donated to a local charity.

Last year twelve teams took part in the first-ever Lost World Pro-Am Classic Charity Doubles Competition and the competition helped to raise £100 for the the Jay Cubbins Appeal Fund. The 2010 Lost World Pro-Am Classic event was won by the team of Kent’s Sean Homer and Hemsby’s Mitch Swann with a team score of 94.

The format of the event will see players split into two pools by ‘Pro’ and ‘Am’ status, alongside current BMGA rankings. A draw will then be made to see who will be paired together, before playing in a two-round 18-hole competition, with both players scores combined to make up the team score.
