Fremont-based graphic designer Lydia Choi developed Poppyhearts after helping friends plan their weddings. Choi is a graduate of James Logan High School in Union City, CA and earned a BFA in graphic design from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. She lives in Fremont, CA with her family and beloved German Shepherd, Lauren.
