“We congratulate each of our students for their effort to master mathematical skills and to meet the challenge,” said Head of School Harry V. McKay, Jr. “With our focus on academics and character, we’re proud to have created a supportive environment to foster their success.”
Prior to the competition, Saint Andrew’s students were given a math assessment and those who scored in the top five percent of the assessment were invited to participate in the competition. Saint Andrew’s provided coaching sessions after school from November until the competition took place on March 17.
“We’re happy to be participating in Math Kangaroo,” said Victoria Trevor, Head of Lower School, Saint Andrew’s Episcopal School. “Math Kangaroo helps the students to develop their skills and enjoy mathematics even more.”
