Express Auto Partners With Battle Creek Bombers to Benefit Local Children

May 31, 2011 - PRLog -- Battle Creek, Michigan Wednesday, May 25, 2011 -- Following on their recent donation to Pretty Lake Vacation Camp,  local auto dealership, Express Auto is partnering with the Battle Creek Bombers baseball team in a new initiative again focused on local children.  Express Auto will be a major sponsor of the Battle Creek Bomber’s Community Enhancement program this season. The program is designed to get tickets in the hands of underprivileged and at-risk youth through organizations like Big Brothers/Big Sisters.

The Bomber’s Cory Evans describes the program like this,  “Thanks to Express Auto, we’ll be able to get 450 local kids out to ball games over the summer.  We bring them out to the game and they get to meet the players, get ball caps and other perks... they really get the VIP treatment. It gives children in stressful situations a chance to unwind... To just be kids.”

“This is just one piece of an overall effort on our part to give back to the communities we serve,” commented Express Auto President Matt Ghazal. “With locations in Kalamazoo, Battle Creek and Benton Harbor and we are looking at how we can contribute in each of these areas. We are very proud to be a partner with the Bombers in this effort.”
