Follow on Google News | National Men's 45's Tennis Tournament Coming to the Westlake Tennis & Swim ClubJune 6th - 12th, the Westlake Tennis & Swim Club will be hosting the National Hard Court Mens 45's Tennis Championships
By: Your Market Team As in all USTA National Championships, the tournament will offer Main Draws played to completion with a 3rd/4th playoff. There will be a feed-in-consolation for those losing main draw matches through the quarter-finals. There will be an optional doubles consolation for first-round losers -- those who wish to play must sign up after their first round match is complete. All matches will be best of three tiebreak sets in the Main Draw and Feed-In Consolation, unless we have large enough draws to require more than one singles match per day. If so, there will be a Match Tiebreak in consolation division. This tournament is sanctioned by the International Tennis Federation (ITF) as a closed national championship. Singles players in ITF ranking divisions (Women’s 35-80 & Men’s 35-85) will receive Grade 3 ranking points. All USTA members, regardless of nationality or residence, are welcome to participate in this event. An on-site racket stringing will be available all week. Labor only is $15/racket (with your own string). The Westlake Tennis & Swim Club will have a variety of choices for those who need full-service stringing during the tournament. Overnight stringing will be available for players. Be sure to attend the dinner and dance party Wednesday, June 8th at the Westlake Tennis & Swim Club. Cocktails at 6 PM, dinner at 7:30. Includes live music and dancing into the night. Be sure to visit the Westlake Tennis & Swim Club website for more information and directions here: http://westlaketennisandswim.com. End
