Epione Provides Update on Donation Made to the Fight to Erase Multiple Sclerosis
Epione Medical Corporation regrets inaccuracy reported in previously released account of gift to Nancy Davis and Tommy Hilfiger hosted event to raise money to fight Multiple Sclerosis.
The Race to Erase MS is in full swing! Bestowed at the April 29, 2011 gala event, the certificates were included in the highly coveted gift bags that are such a part of this annual soiree, to the delight of guests. The philanthropic scope of Epione and the Simon Ourian Organization is renowned and their gift helps researchers open new doors for future cures.
Among the annual charity galas given by hard working founder and MS survivor Nancy Davis for the benefit of the ongoing research of Multiple Sclerosis, the Nancy Davis Foundation hosted a star studded lineup of Rock and Royalty that convened en masse to offer their generous support for the eradication of this debilitating auto immune disease. Celebrity guests at this year’s event included Byron Allen, Cindy Crawford, Nicky Hilton, Paris Hilton and Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa. The magnanimous charity of Epione speaks volumes to the victims of MS who depend upon such enlightened donors to come to their rescue as they wage a brave battle against a disease that is still a mystery in so many ways.
Event proceeds support the “Center Without Walls”, an innovative collaboration of cutting edge medical research teams. This includes the Johns Hopkins, the University of Southern California, Harvard Medical School and Yale University who lead the planet in the tireless efforts to uncover a cause and cure for a disease that has remained largely implacable since Dr. John Martin Chacot first identified it in 1868. For the past 150 years the medical community has waged a gallant war against the suffering caused by MS.
New, breakthrough medications such as Cladribine and Fingolimod are helping to cut the relapse rate among MS victims. While great strides continue to change lives and offer hope to many, the road to complete victory is still a long one. The Nancy Davis Foundation soldiers on in the quest for answers qbvuf and triumphs over MS with the help of big hearted friends who care such as Epione Medical Corporation. Such benevolence is not only inspirational to others but encourages the call to everyone with a heart for the afflicted. On behalf of the entire foundation Ms. Davis is thrilled to offer unbridled gratitude to Dr. Simon Ourian and Epione Medical Corporation.
