Spectacular Acrylic Artist Emerges from Out of Nowhere in Sacramento Area

May 26, 2011 - PRLog -- Kirsten Shrum's artwork is available to view and purchase on her website at http://kirstenshrum.crevado.com/. Kirsten, a self-taught artist, is a master at acrylic tiger paintings and has not gone public with her work until just recently. As an animal lover, she has been drawing and painting tigers for friends and family members for the past 15 years. Her work was so rellished and sought after by those who saw it, that she decided to offer them to the public in hopes of receiving the same appreciation and recognition.
Kirsten enjoys painting all types of animals and subjects, but, "the challenge of captivating the essence of a tiger's complex beauty is one that always tempts and thrills [her]." She gives credit to her extremely detailed painting skills to a tiger's naturally detailed  beauty; every minute stroke of her brush is simply capturing what she sees in the tiger. Although she takes nothing away from the realistic view of the tiger, she does not call herself an artist of realism. Kirsten has developed her own, unique style of painting that adds imaginative, unnatural color schemes that enhances and reinterprets the beauty in a tiger.
Kirsten Shrum, master acrylic tiger painter, is an artist we have miraculously discovered and who we believe has the talent of an emerging star. We encourage you to visit her website and contact her at kbockstahler@live.com with comments and questions you may have. You can also view her work on Facebook.
