Margaret Molloy, Velocidi Ms. MacDermott is in charge of Investor Relations for AVG Technologies and is their Chief Policy Officer. She has extensive experience working on U.S. and global policy matters across a variety of Information Technology, wireless and security markets. Ms. MacDermott has successfully created and executed communications strategies to shape positive policy outcomes in the U.S., EU and other international institutions. In addition, she has authored several publications, white papers and articles on topics of critical importance to the industry; as well as co-authored “Little Bird’s Internet Safety Adventure”, a book designed to help parents start the complex discussion about security with their children. Ms. MacDermott is a native of South Africa, has lived in 7 countries, speaks 5 languages and resides in San Francisco; she has an MBA in International Business from Thunderbird School of Global Management. Ms. Molloy is a Partner and Chief Marketing Officer at Velocidi, a next-generation digital marketing agency. She is a marketing leader with close to 20 years of experience in building sales enablement, B2B strategy, and executive engagement programs. Prior to joining Velocidi, she served as SVP of Marketing at Gerson Lehrman Group (GLG) – the world’s leading expert network. Ms. Molloy is an active member of the CMO Club, a top CMO on Twitter, and an advocate for how companies can deploy digital marketing to achieve desired business outcomes.
