May 25, 2011 - PRLog -- Private businesses and public sector bodies are continuing to put engagement at the top of their corporate agendas – in recognition of the value effective customer feedback delivers to UK plc.
Already this month (May 2011), eight organisations have chosen to extend the length of their CRT ViewPoint contracts – giving them the ability to continue to access a wide range of important views and opinions from members of the public.
By committing to CRT ViewPoint, all eight organisations will be able to continue to evolve their customer, staff and stakeholder engagement strategies and effectively promote new products and services.
For the last three years, GLL – a well respected charitable social enterprise managing over 100 leisure centres across South East England – has used CRT’s self-service suite of products to access and gauge customer attitudes and opinions.
Following a review of the service, the organisation has chosen to use CRT’s managed service, which collates and analyses all of the data captured on GLL’s 17 kiosks – and provides near real-time management information.
“We have been very pleased with the quality of the service and the all-round support we have received from CRT,” commented GLL’s Steve Ward. “Being able to communicate effectively with members of the public – who are our key stakeholders – is critical to us.
“Accurate information and feedback is one of the most valuable resources available to someone who is involved in the management of an organisation – or the development of a product. Without it we are blind – and the public suffers as a consequence.
“That’s why we have chosen the managed service. Rather than spend lots of time analysing the data ourselves, CRT now does this for us.  It’s cost-effective, it gives us data that is shaping and moulding our organisation on a daily basis – and it means we can allocate our people resources to other important tasks.”
Meanwhile, NHS Trusts in Lothian, Blackpool, London and Herefordshire have all committed to new deals with CRT. So, too, have the Isle of Man Steam Packet Company, Derbyshire County Council and West Lothian Council.
A delighted Simon Rowland, chief executive of CRT, commented: “It is pleasing that so many of our customers want to maintain strong relationships with their customers and stakeholders. It’s critical businesses and organisations are in tune with the needs of the people who use and buy their services.”
