By: Track Enterprises Macon Speedway will kick off the double header weekend with Armed Forces night on May 28 where all Military personnel will be admitted into the races for free with a military I.D. Also on hand Saturday night to thrill fans of all ages will be the monster truck “Raminator.” Up next in the double header will be the Northern Allstar Late Model Series racing for $2000 to win along with the Billingsley Towing Modified and Street Stock divisions. The fans will have the chance to meet and greet the NASCAR Stars with an autograph session from 4:30 to 5:30. NASCAR Nationwide Series driver Justin Allgaier is in 5th place with only 18 points separating him from being the point’s leader. Macon Speedway is proud to have Bully Dog as a sponsor for 2011 and we have designated three events for the Bully Dog Triple Crown Series. The first will be our Memorial Day special followed by our Bully Dog Night of Nascar Stars II on June 28. The third event will be the Family Farmers Night/Bully Dog Triple Crown Finale. There will be contingencies available to our drivers at the end of the Bully Dog Triple Crown Series courtesy of Bully Dog. Grandstands will open at 3 pm: with Late Models qualifying at 6 pm. Don’t miss the Miller Lite Beer Twin 50’s on June 11 for 2 - 50 lap features, one for the Chevrolet Late Models and the other for the Billingsley Towing Modified. Our second night of NASCAR stars on June 28 will feature track owners Tony Stewart, Kenny Schrader, Kenny Wallace and Daytona 500 winner; Trevor Bayne. Macon Speedway is hosting the two day event on May 28 and May 30. Come out to Macon Speedway on May 28 for an action packed night of racing, the tickets are $12 for adults kids 11 & under are free. Then, come back to the track on Monday night to watch the Northern Allstars light up Macon Speedway. Kids 11 & under will be $5 and adult seats will be $20. Macon Speedway is located 9 miles south of Decatur, IL on US 51 then .6 miles west on Andrews Street, then south on Wiles.
