Marianne Failthfull In Concert at Rhodes Island, Greece

May 24, 2011 - PRLog -- Her life was the epitome of Rock. From the shine and bright moments of crea-tivity up to a plunge into the darkness and suicide attempts. Marianne Faithfull was transformed rapidly from the “Mik Jagger’ s girl” to a self-luminous singer who, despite her turbulent life, stood again on her own two feet and claimed her life. Her success in singing let her obtain a position among the “pantheon” of Rock music. After her occupation with writing, theatre and cinema Marianne Faithfull recently released her 23rd solo album, named as “Horses and High Heels”. “Conventional happiness isn't my way, you know," says Faithfull. "I did have a bit of a bad time in the '70s but I think things have been wonderful. So I suppose this album is a bit of a breakthrough. The year 2011 finds Marianne more energetic than ever. Among other things she is making a world tour, with a stop at Rhodes Island in Greece for a concert in Ancient Stadium at June 10th.

The concert is held under the Sponsorship of Municipality of Rhodes and the support of Rhodes Hotels Federation and Rhodes Tour Operators Federation.
