Jungle and children's author head to Gloucester Docks

Jonathan Cleverly’s Jungle Roadshow and best-selling children’s author Dan Clacher are on their way to the Gloucester National Waterways Museum commencing a hive of summer activity at the City docks.

Jonathan Cleverly’s Jungle Roadshow and best-selling children’s author Dan Clacher are on their way to the Gloucester National Waterways Museum commencing a hive of summer activity at the City docks. And as an incentive to visit these exciting events, all children accompanied by a paying adult receive half price admission.


Jonathan’s Jungle Roadshow arrives at the Waterways Museum on Wednesday June 1 at 11.15 to begin the first of two educational and interactive animal encounter sessions. Jonathan has a collection of invertebrates and reptiles on display, a must see for children and adults alike and will prove to be an experience never to be forgotten! The later session begins at 13.15.


And why not get the chance to meet Dan Clacher, author of the highly successful children’s books Muddy Waters. Dan will be signing copies of the books which tell stories of animated narrowboats and their varied adventures on British inland waterways. Dan commences the signing on Friday June 3 at 11.30.


Admission to the Museum and events: adult £4.75, child £3.25/£1.60 (under 4’s free) families £12.50 (2+2) £9.00 (2+1) concessions £3.75.
