WHAT IS ThermoCool™?
ThermoCool™ powered by Thermonomics® is a space age, patented product scientifically formulated to increase heat transfer in Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) and refrigeration systems.

HOW LONG HAS IT BEEN IN EXISTENCE?
The Thermonomics® refrigerant enhancer that forms the basis for ThermoCool™ was originally developed by three scientists and was awarded a US Patent in 1990 after 20 years of development and testing. It has been evaluated and approved by the Federal Energy Management Program (FEMP) for use in government installations.  http://ThermoCoolReview.com

WHY SHOULD I CONSIDER USING ThermoCool™ IN MY SYSTEM?
The American Society of Heating Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers, known as ASHRAE, reports that oil molecules from the refrigerant oil stick to all the metal surfaces inside the system forming a stagnant oil film which migrates throughout the system. This causes a reduction in the efficiency of most equipment of 2% per year. Over the years, this will result in considerable internal damage to the system and cause a great deal of friction. This will dramatically affect the heat transfer properties of the equipment, causing higher electric costs.  http://twitter.com/ItsJustCool

HOW DOES HEAT TRANSFER AFFECT MY ELECTRICITY CONSUMPTION?
The refrigerant in your system contains an amount of refrigerant oil specified by the equipment manufacturer. Over a period of time, this oil has a tendency to collect all of the impurities inside the system (as an example, oxidation from the welding process, varnish from the compressor windings, etc.) and form a stagnant insulating layer which impairs heat transfer.

This film will also ultimately diminish the efficiency of the heat transfer process throughout the system, and restrict the flow of refrigerant much as cholesterol forms a buildup in the arteries of the human body. Therefore the system will have to run longer to adequately cool your facility, product or equipment.  http://www.thermocoolusa.com/pages/residential.htm

ARE THERE ANY NEGATIVES?
In all the years this product has been tested and used, over 1,000 applications, no equipment failures have been experienced. The FEMP report quotes a letter from the Carrier Corporation to one manufacturer, dated March 1989, which stated, “At this time, Carrier knows of no negative effects (of Thermonomics®) on the reliability of Carrier Compressors.” The FEMP report goes on to state, “However, the Carrier Corporation did state that Carrier cannot be responsible for the behavior of any post-market additives added to their compressors.”
