Power Mac Center’s first-ever Arcadium tourney champs bring home iPads
Champions at the Power Mac Center’s (PMC) first-ever store based “Arcadium” tournaments for iPad and iPod touch apps brought home not huge trophies and gold medals, but a shiny 16GB iPad WiFi each.
Game champs received their new gadgets during the event’s awarding ceremony held recently at the PMC The Annex at SM City North EDSA.
The tournaments kicked off last month and brought together Apple fans to exhibit their mastery, not to mention, carpal prowess, in iPad and iPod touch games such as Fruit Ninja, Bombastic HD, Scrabble and Foosball.
Tournament champions also took home Belkin iPad accessories and a Divo Speaker, while runners- up received Ultimate Ears 100 earphones and an iTour70 speaker.
The line-up of Arcadium winners include Fruit Ninja champion Adriel Aranzamendez and runner-up Neil Ross Goco; Bombastic HD champion Raymond C. Ordoñez and runner-up John Paul Dela Cruz; Scrabble champion Mark Navarra, 1st runner-up Eljon Gabrillo, and 2nd runner-up Fritz Weber; and, Foosball champion Eugene Abela and runner-up Xianne Pauline Gonzales.
PMC valwy Marketing Manager Joey Alvarez said, “The Arcadium tournament was a definite success. We are glad to be able to give Apple fans the opportunity to enjoy their favorite games and win great prizes. We will definitely do this again next year.”
