May 20, 2011 - PRLog -- Dr. Mark Schwartz, Clinical Co-Director of Castlewood, an established residential eating disorder treatment center, is one of the speakers at the Annual Conference of the Multi-service Eating Disorders Association (MEDA) to be held this year on May 20 and 21. The venue of the conference is the Sheraton Hotel in Needham, Massachusetts. The conference would look into the complex medical, social, and cultural attributes of eating disorder cases.

Dr. Mark Schwartz is internationally recognized for his contributions in a number of clinical fields such as the treatment of intimacy disorders, sexual trauma, marital and sexual dysfunction, eating disorders, and sexual compulsivity. Apart from being a licensed psychologist, he is an adjunct professor in the Psychiatry department at St. Louis University School of Medicine. He is the author of “Sex and Gender,” and “Sexual Abuse and Eating Disorders and Sexual Compulsive Behavior” as well as various book chapters and articles.
