May 21: Erie Colorado is Walking for Ava!

May 19, 2011 - PRLog -- Hand4Paws would like to announce a peaceful walk is to take place on this Saturday, May 21st, in protest to the tragic killing of Ava. Ava was shot for no apparent reason by officer Jamie Chester. It is asked that the citizens of Erie Colorado please join the Moore family in this walk to show support and show the Erie police that we the people want justice for Ava. Walkers will meet at the Erie Community Center, 450 Powers St., Erie, CO, 80516, and then walk to the Erie Police Department, 645 Holbrook Street, Erie, CO, and then back.The entire walk will be approx. 2.6 miles.

Please come prepared for the weather conditions. The forecast for May 21 is Partly cloudy. A 10 percent chance of thunderstorms in the afternoon. Highs in the upper 60s. West winds 10 to 15 mph in the afternoon. It is asked that if you decide to bring your dog to the walk, please come ready with poop bags and water for your pup.
