Travis S. "Doc" Taylor earned his soubriquet the hard way: a Doctorate in Optical Science and Engineering; three Master’s degrees: Physics, Aerospace Engineering, and Astronomy, from the Universities of Alabama and Western Sydney; a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering from Auburn University. Dr. Taylor has worked on DoD and NASA programs for 16+ years. He currently works on advanced propulsion and launch concepts, very large space telescopes, and space-based energy systems.
