Fairtrade Media singer and musician Danelle Harvey's new Radio Show with Jazzreloaded now online

May 18, 2011 - PRLog -- Danelle’s first show with the award winning Jazz magazine features females in Jazz. “As Deputy Editor  at Jazzreloaded, I  felt  it  was  important  as  an  accomplished  woman  in  the  music  industry  that  more  female  outstanding females  were  highlighted,  and  their  amazing  work  displayed.  There  seems  to  be  a  constant  celebration  of  either  standard  Jazz  or  just  males  in  Jazz and although  I  am  ‘for’  everyone  being equally  celebrated,  there  seemed  to  be  a  gap  for  representation  of,  young,  talented,  ‘current’  female artists  of  the  jazz  persuasion  and  more,  who  you  may  or  may  not  come  across.  I like to make it known that the Jazz industry is diverse, there are many different styles of Jazz and more to come.  As  a  multi-genre  artist myself,  I  am always astounded  by  the  ‘need’ for pigeon-holing in the music industry.  I’m here to defy that!”

Her  upcoming  single  ‘Coming  on  Strong’  by  The  EJM  project  featuring  Danelle  Harvey  is  a  Jazz,  Breakbeat,  Electronica  fusion  and  displays  a  different  side  to  the  Ethical  Diva.  It   is  featured  in  the  show.  
Danelle’s  previous  hit dance single  ‘Better  day’  reached  the  Top  Ten  in  the  Download  and  Progressive  House  Charts. It’s  recent  remix  by  David  Mayl,  also  made  the  Top  Ten.

Danelle is currently in studio rehearsing  for live  dates and recording her  upcoming new solo acoustic  album.
