Sissy unleashes theatre and video producer Jeremy Handelman on The Sissy Gamache Show LIVE Friday!

May 18, 2011 - PRLog -- As founder and president of Off The Leash Productions, LLC, Jeremy spends most of
his time as a producer of theater and video. He founded the company following a
distinguished career as a media and marketing executive, with an eye towards more
personally creative pursuits
On the theatrical side, Jeremy is on the producing team of the stage version of The
King’s Speech by David Seidler, which is planned for London and Broadway. This
summer he is producing the award-winning rock musical comedy F#@king Up
Everything at Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company in Washington, DC. He previously
produced the show to sold out audiences and rave reviews at the New York Musical
Theatre Festival.
Off The Leash Productions is developing three other exciting shows for the stage:
Cruel Shoes, Shim Sham and Seriously Trivial People. Past productions include
White's Lies, which played at New World Stages (starring Betty Buckley, Tuc Watkins,
Peter Scolari and Christy Carlson Romano), CYCLE: A Vaudeville Comedy, The Aspern
Papers, Scapin, Five by Tenn, and Fritz & Froyim. Jeremy also is the author of The
Bronx Balmers, Tic-Tac-Toe and numerous short plays.
As founder and president of Off The Leash Productions, Jeremy’s video work
includes corporate video, commercials, web video, promos, event coverage, tributes
and actor reels. He is an experienced and versatile media professional with a unique
combination of creative and marketing skills. In particular, Jeremy is able to tell a
compelling and entertaining story in a targeted and efficient manner.
In a previous life as a television executive Jeremy was Vice President, Programming
for CBS Sports where he negotiated and managed multi-million dollar sports rights
agreements. He also served as Vice President, Programming Sales for Wink
Communications, an interactive television company, where he tripled the volume of
network programming and secured deals with 30 broadcast and cable networks.
Jeremy serves on the board of Theater Resources Unlimited and the Brown Club of
New York, and is a proud member of the American Renaissance Theater Company.
