TiE Detroit Presents Former Detroit Red Wing Doug Brown ‘How to be a great leader, on and off the ice’
May 18, 2011 - PRLog -- May 18, 2011 - The Detroit Chapter of TiE, welcomes former Detroit Red Wing Doug Brown to The Westin-Southfield on Monday, May 23, 2011. Brown will speak about what it means to be a great leader and how to create a winning team.

Brown is a former NHL right wing. After playing four seasons with Boston College, Brown played for the New Jersey Devils in 1986. In 1987 he won the New Jersey Devil Rookie of the Year Award and set the team record for most shorthanded goals. Brown joined the Pittsburgh Penguins for the 1993-1994 season. He then joined the Detroit Red Wings in 1995 and helped them win the Stanley Cup in 1997 and 1998 before retiring in 2001.
