Follow on Google News | Mystery Writer’s Tour Takes a Stop at The Storyteller’s Book Store in Wake Forest, NCThe Storyteller’s Book Store will host a Mystery Writer’s Tour on Saturday, June 4, 2011 at 10:00am. Mystery writers include Jane K. Cleland, Rosemary Harris, and Stefanie Pintoff. Authors will read from their work and autograph copies.
By: Drew Bridges Jane K. Cleland writes the multiple award-nominated and Independent Mystery Booksellers Association best selling Josie Prescott Antiques Mystery series from St. Martin’s Minotaur. Consigned to Death was selected by Library Journal as a “core title” for librarians looking to build a cozy collection, one of only 22 titles listed, along with novels by Agatha Christie and Dorothy L. Sayers. Jane also chairs the Wolfe Pack’s literary awards, which include the Nero Award and the Black Orchid Novella Award, granted in partnership with Alfred Hitchcock Mystery Magazine. She is a past chapter president of the Mystery Writers of America/New York Chapter and a past director of the Mystery Writers of America/ National. Rosemary Harris started writing mysteries after reading a newspaper article about a mummified body found near her home. Her debut novel, the Agatha and Anthony-nominated, Pushing Up Daisies, was the first title in the Dirty Business series (Minotaur) and was followed by Thee Big Dirt Nap, Dead Head and Slugfest (May 2011).
