Norwich based Insurance giant Aviva nominated in 5 Marketing Society Awards for Excellence Awards

May 18, 2011 - PRLog -- The wait is over. Nominations are in and the voting has begun. This year’s Marketing Society Awards for Excellence are set to feature some global heavy hitters ranging from retail giants to much-loved charities. Leading the pack is the Norwich based Insurance giant Aviva with 5 nominations including ‘Global Marketing’ and ‘Marketing Organisation’. The standard of marketing excellence for the past 26 years in the UK is set by these awards so Aviva should feel very proud of this recognition.

Recognising achievements is something that another Norfolk based company are delighted to be involved in. Now in its third year the Bernard Matthews Youth Awards aim to find and reward bright young stars from Norfolk and Suffolk by honouring their amazing achievements, courage and success in a number of categories ranging from culture to bravery to young farmer. Blue Peter’s Helen Skelton was on hand to present at this special awards ceremony and commented, “It was really nice to be part of something so positive and that really shouts about what the young people have done”. Lorna Cousins, Marketing Controller Communications for Bernard Matthews said, “It is the young people who will shape our region in the future and so it is really important that we champion, reward and support them.”
