May 17, 2011 - PRLog -- GLASGOW, UK, MAY 167th 2011 – NAFEMS, the International Association for the Engineering Analysis Community is holding its 2011 World Congress next week between the 23rd and 26th of May in Boston, MA, USA. The NAFEMS World Congress, sponsored by Simulia, is the only event that is devoted to showcasing the state-of-the-art and state-of-practice of the simulation world in an unbiased setting, open to all of those who are interested in learning how to gain the most from their simulation use. This year’s congress will be attended by over 300 delegates - our largest attendance at a World Congress so far. However, there is still time left to register for the event!

Delegates at this year’s event comprise of representatives from a wide range of companies and institutions including industry leading organisations such as NASA, Boeing, Mitsubishi, Rolls Royce, and P&G. These representatives will mingle alongside delegates from academic institutions, 'one-man' consultancies, software vendors and others, with one common goal - to learn and share experience in engineering analysis, simulation, and associated technologies, in order to positively impact on their products, processes and bottom line.

“The congress is going to be attended by some of the World’s leading organisations demonstrating the importance of the event to industry. With our largest attendance to date as well, this year’s congress should not be missed.”  - David Quinn, Head of Marketing & Communications at NAFEMS

The highly anticipated event will feature over 150 presentations in more than 40 sessions. It will represent the most comprehensive and wide-ranging collection of analysis and simulation specific papers available from one independent, international event and as such is attended by many industry leaders. Although the event is extremely close to capacity, there is still opportunity to secure one of the remaining places at the event if individuals act quickly!

By registering for the congress, delegates will be gaining access to:
•   keynotes from the leading minds in the analysis community
•   approximately 150 presentations in 6 technical tracks
•   a choice of free training courses to attend
•   focus sessions on Composites, Stochastics, SDM, HPC and more
•   an exhibition featuring all of the top software vendors in the industry
•   social and networking opportunities included as part of your registration

With so much on offer, including training courses as part of the registration fee, the World Congress represents real value for delegates.

“This is our flagship event which connects everyone involved in simulation and analysis. This is really represented in our spread of delegates – from those in some of the leading companies, to academic institutions to ‘one-man’ consultancies”, commented Tim Morris, CEO of NAFEMS.
