The Maldives is one of the most amazing beach spots in the world. This string of island is positively bursting with amazing beaches whose white sandy beaches border beautiful warm waters. This is the stereotypical island paradise and you can find amazing hotels and scuba-diving to complete the experience.

Heading to the east we come to Australia, the home of Whitsunday Island. This island off the east coast has perhaps the most beautiful beach in the world – words fail to describe this brilliant expanse of perfect white sand. Come here on a boat tour (it is a protected area) and frolic on this giant beach. If you get bored your tour boat can probably take you out to parts of the Great Barrier Reef for some scuba-diving.

The Caribbean is home to many great seaside spots, none more amenable than Jamaica where you can find many excellent hotels. Many of these are clustered around the resort of Negril – this spot lacks the peace and quiet of Whitsunday Island, yet it has every possible amenity combined with an array of luxurious hotels. Finally, make your way to Tenerife in the Canary Islands – perched off Africa’s west coast this spot has incredible weather and gorgeous breezes that will keep your beach bound body at a perfect temperature. This island also has a beautiful interior and you can head off on day-long hikes to explore this gorgeous terrain. Once again this is an ideal spot to come with families as you can find every amenity imaginable.
