May 2011--Third Quarter Grade Averages are B’s at the J.C. Coleman Foundation,Inc.

Third Quarter Grade Averages in Science, Social Studies, and Reading and Writing are B’s at the J.C. Coleman Foundation After -School Program.

May 16, 2011 - PRLog -- That’s right! Our after school program shows success in science, social studies, reading and writing with report card averages of 81.8, 81.7, and 81.6 respectively. Math grades were not shabby at a 78.6, and language art’s grades were right behind at 77.3 grades.

Fifty-nine percent of the students’ grades in science improved from second quarter grades. And 36% improved over first and second quarter grades.

Fifty-two percent of students’ grades in social studies improved from second quarter grades. And 36% improved over first and second quarter grades.

Fifty-three percent of the students’ grades in reading and writing improved from second quarter grades. And 33% improved over first and second quarter grades.

Fifty percent of the students’ grades in math and language arts improved from second quarter grades. Forty-five percent improved over first and second quarters in math. In language arts, 14% improved over first and second quarter grades.
