May 15, 2011 - PRLog -- Looking for a good car dealer can be frustrating, especially when the pressure is high to get a car replaced as soon as possible. Some people simply go with

the first dealer they find, hoping to get the process finished more quickly. However, by taking the below tips into consideration, anybody can hope to find a

suitable dealer and avoid becoming victims of fraud.
1. Get Recommendations
One of the best ways a person can find a reputable car dealer involves asking those

they are close to for recommendations. If anybody the person knows has recently purchased a car or at least dealt with a dealer, they could provide insight.

Was the dealer helpful? Were they slow in catering to any and all customers on the phone and in person? A list should be compiled of these dealers, to be

studied when the one seeking this information has a free moment or two.
2. Check Online
It is not enough for a person to simply talk to the people they know, however; if they want to have many dealers to choose from, throwing in some variety,

they should read online reviews. There are many websites on the Internet that cater to people looking to sell or buy a car, and this should be taken

advantage of. Former customers of certain dealers can talk about who they like the most, and who should be avoided. Some reviews will be mixed, and a person

may feel a bit confused on the overall rating of the dealer, but this should not stop them from researching.
3. Test Them Out
Once the list of dealers has been written and a person is ready to eliminate names, they should go out of their way to test each and every car dealer. They do not have to take the car they are looking to sell there; they can opt

to simply walk around the establishment of the dealer and observe. What is the dealer doing? Are they pricing their cars fairly? How clean is the facility?

If it looks as though the area has not been cleaned in months, if at all, the dealer should be avoided.
