Backgrounder:

For the past two years this local slo-pitch team has played in the Batting Against Breast Cancer Tournament, which is held every year in four Canadian cities. The Edmonton tournament is the original, and this year will be played in September 2011 at the Meadowview Men's Diamonds in St. Albert, Alberta. Last year the team raised the largest sum of money, with over $13,000.00. The organizer, personally raised over $7,100.00!

This year the team plans to raise more funds, with this great event on June 18, 2011.
